Pain meditations in free Medito app
The free Medito App has a pack of short meditations to help us cope better with pain.
Even if they do not remove pain completely, they can bring relief. They can improve the way we react to pain and discomfort, reduce our sensitivity to pain, minimize the stress and anxiety that it causes.
These are the meditations included (each 10 minutes):
- Managing pain
- Labeling pain
- Letting go of resistance to pain
- Paying attention to pain
- Accepting pain in the present moment
- Recognizing your response to pain
- Body scan for pain
- Releasing physical pain
The app also offers many other meditations. To find those related to pain, you have to tap the purple "Explore" button and then scroll down to "Pain Management".
